Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
